To be qualified for a diploma program at LCU, you must possess one of the following: GCE, SSCE, NECO or equivalent are required for a two- Year Diploma Program.

For a direct entry of two years Bachelor Program, a Diploma in Theology or equivalent is required. In addition to GCE, SSCE, NECO, or equivalents, a Certificate/Diploma may be requi0red for two years Bachelor Program. Where these are not available, but the student is over 25 years, application may be considered provided he/she can read and write, and provided he must obtain the GCE or others before graduation.

In order to pursue a Master's Degree program, the applicant must apply to, meet the existing admission requirements for, and be accepted into the master's degrees of his area of specialization.

Prerequisites may be met with equivalent courses from another institution and do not count toward degree completion.

Note:

Church Membership Requirement (for admission into the CEd.D. in Educational Leadership—all concentrations Ph.D. in Leadership Studies’ Ministry Concentration, Master’s Ministry Degrees, and Advanced Ministry Certificate Programs): Within the last 12 months, the applicant must have been an active member of a Christian church that holds Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who holds solely the Old Testament and the New Testament as sacred Scripture.
